Eclosio proposes a movie followed by a debate with the preview of the film “Nous Tous” by Pierre Pirard and produced by Almolu.

“What if, far from the tension around identity issues and the fear of “the other”, we showed other realities? What if we told the stories of audacious citizens who, with a view to a harmonious life between people of different beliefs, reinvent family, education, social relations, culture, work… and this in spite of the existent difficulties and tensions. What if, thanks to these stories which were collected all around the world, we started seeing emerging what could be tomorrow’s harmonious multi-identity world. What if we all took part in it?

Come and discover this film which invites us to live and act together. Prolong this moments by exchanging with the director Pierre Pirard.

Language of the activity: French.

Created in 2018 from the merger between the Aide au Développement Gembloux (ADG) and Universud-Liège, Eclosio is the NGO of the University of Liège.

We envision a world where current and future generations live in dignity and exercise their fundamental rights.

In order to realise our vision, we have set ourselves the mission of encouraging a collective commitment from the university community and civil society, of co-building and using knowledge in a reciprocal relationship with our partners and based on the needs expressed by the populations.

In Liège and Gembloux, our mission is to inform, raise awareness and mobilise citizens, students, and members of the university community on various global issues, in order to contribute to the construction of sustainable, faire, supportive and inclusive societies. We also carry out advocacy actions towards academic and politic authorities. The actions are mainly carried out on the Liège and Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech campuses. We work with several universities (Hautes Écoles) in Wallonia as well.

In Benin, SenegalCambodiaBolivia et Peru, we support, with the help of our local partners, vulnerable families as well as their organisations:

  • develop income-generating agroecological activities that are not dependent on external factors and that respect the environment;
  • benefit from a decent income, particularly via the processing and commercialisation of their production;
  • benefit from a healthy and balanced diet, with particular emphasis on women’s role of guarantors of their families’ nutritional health;
  • support local dynamics and territorial development for and by the communities;
  • professionalise themselves through quality trainings and the support of research for sustainable employment;
  • defend their interests by lobbying public authorities.

Living Together accompanies displaced persons in their journey of exile and integration, whether they are asylum seekers, recognised refugees, migrants without documents and transmigrants, for any logistical, administrative, medical or moral assistance... More information : click here.
